These pieces of software produced by DataKustik GmbH (Gilching, Germany) are being used by road authorities, railway administrations, airport operators and industrial companies in more than 60 countries. In order to ensure the high standard of software and consulting operation in the future, DataKustik is continuously engaged in the development of guidelines and standards and in the screening of international methods of noise calculation.

CadnaA
CadnaA (Computer Aided Noise Abatement) is the leading software for calculation, presentation, assessment and prediction of environmental noise. Applications range from industrial sites, road and railway networks, airports or even entire towns and urbanized areas.
CadnaA is available with Cloud Licensing by subscription or On-Premise licensing by one-time purchase. The option CadnaA-APL (Air Pollution) extends the range of application of CadnaAby the calculation, assessment and representation of the air pollutants impact.

CadnaA-CL or CadnaA-PL?
CadnaA is available with Cloud Licensing (CadnaA CL) by subscription or On-Premise (CadnaA PL) licensing by one-time purchase.
CadnaA CL licensing offers fixed license products which can be extended by options, license access via internet, monthly or annual subscription, and support of virtual environments like Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.
CadnaA PL licensing offers the opportunity for building your individual license, licensing with Hardware USB dongle, one time purchase with optional software maintenance, available as local and Server dongles.

CadnaA Industry – Calculation of Noise in Industrial Applications
CadnaA Industry is especially designed for acousticians specialized in industrial installations. Applications range from the calculation of industrial sites, wind farms or mining plants to HVACs, PAGA systems or even open air events.

CadnaA Traffic – Calculation of Noise from Road and Railway
CadnaA is the perfect solution for the calculation of road and railway noise. Common applications are the evaluation of existing or new roads/railways, the optimization of noise barriers, the calculation of tunnels or even EU noise mapping projects.

CadnaA City – Calculation of Noise in Whole Cities
CadnaA City is the perfect tool when all three noise types (industry, road, railway) are relevant. CadnaA Aircraft noise
CadnaA has many application references for the calculation of the noise emitted from civil airports around the world. The results are based on the most relevant calculation methods at European and International level. Furthermore, CadnaA offers many tools and post processing features which simplify your workflow and give more insight on the acoustical situation.
All relevant standards are supported byCadnaA. For instance, the Integrated Noise Method (INM), ECAC 3rd Edition or CNOSSOS-EU ensure that CadnaA can be used for aircraft noise calculations anywhere in the world.

CadnaA APL – Calculation of Air Pollution
The option CadnaA-APL (Air Pollution) extends the range of application of CadnaA by the calculation, assessment and representation of the air pollutants impact. The option enables calculations according to the requirements of the European guidelines 1999/30/EC and 2000/69/EG. The background of CadnaA-APL is the computer model AUSTAL2000 developed by the German National Environmental Protection Agency.

CadnaB
CadnaB is the software to calculate airborne and impact sound transmission between rooms for an entire building including airborne sound transmission from and to the exterior. CadnaB has implemented the calculation methods ISO 12354 and DIN 4109. CadnaB features interoperability with CadnaA and CadnaR. The integrated software system CadnaA/B/R is currently the only system which can calculate sound from an outside source, through the construction, inside a building and through various rooms (and vice versa). CadnaB offers several manufacturer and literature databases supplying the acoustical data of the different building elements.

CadnaB – Functionality
CadnaB calculates the airborne and impact sound transmisson in third-octave band width and for single number values. The calculation is performed for each room pair of an entire building, taking into account various transmission paths. CadnaB features a comprehensive user interface allowing the direct modelling of of an entire multi-storey building from scratch. CadnaB provides an easy to use import of BASTIAN worksheets. It also can be connected to CadnaR and CadnaA for an extended transmission calculation from the outside to the inside and vice-versa. Several databases on building element data are available for CadnaB. Additionally, it is possible to add user-defined constructions to your own database. Take advantage of modern tools for displaying results with the purpose of presentation and further analysis.

CadnaB – Modelling
CadnaB´s concept is based on the modelling of the whole building. Walls, doors, windows and other elements can be modelled in 2D while seeing the changes in 3D in realtime. CadnaB supports the import of bitmap files, e.g. containing the floor map. Bitmaps can be comfortably calibrated within CadnaB. Afterwards, entire storeys with multiple rooms or even entire buildings can be easily modelled by drawing the elements on top.

CadnaB – Calculations and Standards
Calculations according to ISO 12354-2017 or DIN 4109. Thanks to the CadnaB´s design phylosophy, further calculation procedures and national standards will be implemented in the future, allowing the extensive use of the software no matter where it should be applied.

CadnaB – Interoperability with CadnaA
CadnaB-buildings can be placed in a CadnaA model with a few clicks to calculate the level in front of the façade. In case of ISO 12354, the interior level can be calculated based on the façade level with consideration of the building acoustic properties. When using DIN 4109, the “relevant exterior noise level” can be calculated and transferred to CadnaB.

CadnaB – Interoperability with CadnaR
- Manage and organize CadnaR files for an entire building in CadnaB.
- Use CadnaR in the sending and receiving room to consider the position of sources, receivers and obstacles inside the room. The transmission through the wall is calculated based on the building acoustic properties defined in CadnaB including selected constructions, doors or windows.
- Automatic calculation of the spatially averaged reverberation time for all rooms which are linked to a CadnaR project.
CadnaR
CadnaR is the powerful software tool for the calculation and assessment of sound inside rooms and at workplaces. With its various features and software configurations, CadnaR covers the widest range of indoor acoustic applications from specific planning of noise level reduction measures in production plants to the optimization of rooms under consideration of psychoacoustic parameters.
